Looking at the stuff Owen listed, I'm just so glad I've never eaten a hotdog... Like ewww...
But hey, if you like your meat waste...
Does it really matter what's in something if you like the taste? Surely this can scare you off if you've never eaten something before... (in your case, I believe - I'm not saying you should eat it, that's just personal)
Not related to Zophia's post... What stuns me the most are the people who like something, and when they find out that what's in it doesn't appeal to them, they suddenly don't like the taste.
the wrapping of a hotdog or sausage is the intestine, they shove the meat from pigs/cows/chickens(usually)into it and tie it off, but it can be anything, and the use of intestines is scarser, theyu "create" the skin part.

Plus, if lots of people are eating hot dogs all the time and no one is really getting sick from them, do you really think what they are putting in them is that bad?
If you've ever watched HOW STUFF IS MADE on Science Channel, then you should know that hot-dogs are made out of BULL MEAT. That's right, not cow, not beef, BULL.
