I have never seen this suggested so here goes.

Right above the comment box, there should be some Pre-made smileys to chose from. Like a smiley one, or an angry one, a sad one and so one. Like perhaps when you put in It would come up with an actually smiley face? I know this isn't the most needed thing currently, but it might be fun.

What do you guys think.

I think this would be a good idea because it can also have another feeling of how you feel about the comment or question.

I agree I always use smiley faces to show if i'm happy,sad and so on...

But I can't remember what the thread was called, so I can't find it and show you...

I do not like the idea of for example :/ automatically turning into a http://www.coolbuddy.com/icon/smiley/sm_hrm.gif...

I prefer my plain text smileys. If you want to be able to use little image smileys, just find one of the webpages that host them and post them the image way. It works just fine.

A lot of smiley images can definitely ruin the text... Less likely when it's just this kind, because they blend in.

So... I AG got its own smileys, PLEASE don't do them so every standard smiley becomes an image. D:

That was supposed to be if Ag got... Yeah.

Also, the smiley I posted is a bad example because it has a signature and odd dimensions, but you get the point! I hope.

I like the idea but what if people don't wnat smilies in picture, just in text I think it should be optional but still I don't think its that bad of an idea.

What good do smileys even make? They are just decorations and do no good rather than show how you are.

Come to think of it now people are convincing me this is a bad idea so I think at the moment I am half on yes and on no.

I do not like those, they make it look weird. Plus, pre-made is better!

this has been suggested before. i dont like the idea. unless you dont have : or ( or ) on your keyboard, dont worry about it.

Having emoticon smileys here would in several ways spam up everything, be annoying as all holy hell and bring the forums down a notch in respectable levels.

As said, what is wrong with making the smilies with what is already on your keyboards? Has not failed me yet. XD

*overloads topic with annoying smileys until it implodes*
