u spelled them both wrong but i like metallica but iron maiden is good too

Yeah,learn to spell.I prefer early Metallica but Iron Maiden is one of my favorite bands too.

I would prefer Iron Maiden, simply because I'm more of a Rock fan, they are Metal, but more mellow with a lot of good riffs in their songs. As to Metallica who have a lot of good songs that are mostly heavier in terms of Metal, but they do tend to 'hit and miss' from time to time, which is something I can't say about Iron Maiden! =D

They still hold the 'Aces High'! So... 'Bring your daughter to the Slaughter', dail 'The Number of the Beast' and ask the person on the other side of the line the simple question: 'Can I Play with Madness?!' hahaaa... \\,,/_

Metallica is obviously better. Master of puppets is the greatest album ever made.

Come one is that hard to decide .. Metallica really is THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! METALLICA METALLICA METALLICA METALLICA . If you think twice on deciding for metallica then listen to there pure awesome metal album .. 'Black album or Metallica album' for others .

I prefer Metallica. Iron Maiden is good also. They both are bands I listen to often, but as I said Metallica is my preference.

I like Iron Maiden, but I slightly prefer Metallica, some of their songs are really great.

I prefer Iron Maiden. Have been to two great concerts. I like that, after all those years they still make great music and every album sounds different then the one before.
Furthermore i am a big fan of guitar music, so I really like Iron Maiden's haveing 4 guitars!

Obviously the creator of this thread doesn't know too much about either since he spelled both band names wrong...But Metallica is my 2nd favorite thrash metal band so....

I prefer Metallica, but BOTH are very good.
