I get the main concept of the theory, and like almost every theory this one has a hole. (If I get this wrong tell me). So theres this tiny orb or ball of nearly infinite energy or density and it explodes releasing all this energy and here we are to make a small story short. So it creates space...
But what was that "little point of infinite energy" in before it exploded.
Is this where the God aspect comes in, to those of you that don't believe...
Well... some would say that string theory helps explain this through its prediction of extra dimensions. These dimensions are sheets, and when they impact, a 'big bang' occurs. This, of course, doesn't answer the question of infinity. At some finite point in the past, all of this had to be created... but how? Some would say God. Some would say these planes are infinite, and universes are created and destroyed as these planes impact one another.
Bottom line, there are no answers, only questions.
