Personally, I have no problems with Country, in fact, most of the biggest Rock bands, like Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, and Aerosmith take influence from Country music, the problem with kids these days is that they tend to get into one kind of music and don't give the many other types a chance, and half of these kids have absolutely NO argument against Country, because, among intelligent people, just saying "Country sucks!" isn't gonna cut it.
But let's get back on track here, Country is good because it's diverse, lyrically superior to hip-hop and rap, and it's fun to sing along to! <---{See kids, just like that}
Country is ok not a huge fan of the musical sound, though it is much more bearable than other genres, however I love some of the lyrics in them they have some of the best song writers. My favourite country singer is probably Tim McGraw and obviously Johnny Cash is a god.
