Any time you see a comment (not a post) in bold, you can tell it's been merited. It should like a bit like this, only much, much longer; with the exception of art contest winners, who get merits from ridiculously short posts.
So your saying that it's really hard to get a merit - unless you do everything right and your a pro reviewer?
It is quite a task for the moderators to find your comment. However if they do find it easily and if you are good at writing reviews, getting merits won't be all too difficult.
