Sounds fake to me.

Humans will always want to save the species, not destroy it.

It is called the nuclear tacticall device..i beleive, and it will blow up a HUGGGEE radius, then kill the others who have not been killed by the boom with radiation..Only cocroaches will survive.

If not im not sure.

It's called the Large Hadron Collider. And what you're taking about is the possibility if it fails. Haha. I don't know anything that has a blast radius strong enough to push THROUGH the world. Because, if a bomb blows up in China, does the US blow up as well?

Yeah, radiation is a possibility, but I think for that radiation to spread around the world with enough a concentration, everything would disintegrate or something. Man...

The large Hadron Collider is not a bomb. The danger is that when the particles collide at such high speeds, the energy could form a black hole that would suck the earth and the entire solar system into it. However the chances of this happening are absolutely tiny and also even if it did happen its supposed top take a fraction of a sceond so no one would know anything about it anyway.

In Russia there is a joke:each 16 milliard years physics get together and run Large Hadron Collider. (By one theory The Sun System was created by Big Explosion for about 15+ milliards years ago).

plus, if a crazy waste of tax dollars pays off, and someone manages to make a little something to survive the pressure (if there is any) of the black hole, future generations would know what's inside one. If anything.

wait wait this is old news like 1 or 2 months we already talked about it the black hole will suck the earth and crap and it was locked proven wrong it didn't happen

so why are we making another useless topic?

I know the LHC is not a bomb, but it's the closest thing that we have to cause mass destruction if it fails. And why would it form a black hole? Just because two particles collide doesn't mean a black hole will form. Hawking proposed that black holes form upon gravitation collapse of stars, and while it's been proposed that they can form upon large energy collisions, the energy at the LHC isn't nearly enough to cause a full black hole. Micro-black holes may show up, lasting for a few milliseconds, but that's about it (and none have been noted). Anyway, no, I'm not stupid, I know the LHC is NOT a bomb. I'll turn on and off the sarcasm next time.

Bomb-wise I believe the hydrogen bomb is the strongest one invented yet. However, total destruction would be assured if you managed to create a black hole... although it's a shame you'll definately 'blow' yourself up as well.

I am not saying you are stupid I am saying the facts. I am not a physicist and so do not know the ins and outs, all i know is what was in the papers at the time. From what Iv'e heard there was a tiny tiny chance that the LHC would cause the end of the world which is why there was so much hype about it. The chances of this actually happening were absolutely miniscule which many leading scientists confirmed. I am just saying that is what the facts are.

When a nation launches a nuclear weapon, the target nation launches a return strike. Then, nukes keep launching around the world until everything dies. It's called nuclear war; luckily, that will never happen, national governments are smart enough (surprisingly) to know that if the launch a nuke they will end the world as we know it.
