I have made this guide for the people who are new to soccer. I dont want to see some comments that say " I already new this" I spend a lot of time into this guide so please enjoy!
Soccer: To me soccer is like a war-like game you attack and defend and you record what's happening in the war. You have the attackers - also known as offense- and you have the defense-soccer has defense too.
Okay so I made this guide for the people who need help in there positions and here they are!
Goalkeeper: Okay so when your goalkeeper your the king you control your army-or team- and see what's happening. You have a certain limit to where you can hold the ball and kick it, the big box your inside is your area. You have a very hard job-but you get to rest s a little- you sort of get balmed if they score a goal on you. You got to have guts and the head to know when to come out of your box and slide to get the ball. Here's a tip for the goalie! Never let the ball bounce it may cause the ball to go over you and make a goal.
Defense: Your the kings gardians, you have to protect the ball from entering the goalie's box. You have to prevent the ball from going past that half court. The most best thing to do at anytime you get the ball is to kick it as hard as you can anywhere in the outfield. Listen to what to goalie says cause it might be an important thing cause he can see everything that is going on in the field.
Mid-Field: My favorite postition, this is where you need the speed and agility to move up and down the field. Mostly important though you work for the foward cause you have to give them some passes so that they can socre. You also are like the marine team for the defense, when they are having some trouble you have to come down and help them out so your king-the goalie-won't get scored on.
Fowards: This is probably the most hardest position, this postition is responsible for the goals. So you get a lot of pressure for all the shots you take. If you need some help with the shots I have made this short essay on them.
Straight-High Kicks: To preform this shot you have to take your right foot (if you kick with your left) and place it next to the ball and you swing with your left, then hit that spot under the ball so it can go up and straight. If you kick with your right do the opposite.
Straight-Low Kicks: Well to do this its pretty simple just do the same steps I listed for high kicks but this time instead of kicking it under, now kick the middle of the ball so your ball will not lift up.
Curved shots: As I said earlier on, preform the same first steps of high and low kicks. Now when your about to kick the ball aim for the balls right side, this will allow the ball to take a good angle. But be careful to hit it to much to the side and it will make a sick left or right turn. (Depends on which foot you hit it with.)
Sorry if its not the best guide its cause my real language is Spanish and I would have made a better guide if I could have written this in spanish.
It's an ok guide. I dont think you needed the bits on how to kick a ball though. The roles of positions were oversimplified somewhat and the analogy of it beingg like a war is ok but it kind of detracts from football itself.
