easy PS3 the Xbox 360 is too expensive when you could just get a PS3 for less, £310 for an Xbox elite with 4 years of live membership, which you are going to have atleast or £280 for an 80gb PS3 with two games and a blu-ray movie, and the PS3 has better graphics and a more powerful processor coupled with an upgradable harddrive (standard 3.5 inch computer one) and the Wii doesn't even vagualy compare I WONDER...
don't buy an xbox360 elite, they have too many bugs to be worth it. The best console is probably an xbox360 and i would buy a pro not an elite or arcade.
