This would be very fitting near the Username/Control Panel/Logout/Armatar box. The suggestion is exactly as the subject suggests. Just give a small red "NEW MESSAGE!" alert when someone messages/comments our profile. I would really appreciate it.
firetail has his comments disabled. I don't think this applies to him. Also, it would just stretch out to the left. If it goes ABOVE the name, I don't mind. Even if it was just a little envelope. or a single ! character. Just something that shows there's a new comment.
I was just using his name as an example... Even NoNameC68 is a pretty long name...
I guess it could work just fine. Maybe an envelope symbol next to where it says Control Panel. Then clickable and leading straight to the comments or something...
This wouldn't be a bad idea, just making everything simplier, i never have the E-mail option on, it fills your email , just easier to click at an icon and then there could be a text: ''NEW COMMENTS'' and under it all the new comments you've got and under it ''OLD COMMENTS'' =) Good idea!
OR have a list of icons next to the name where you profile picture. For example have a little "Caution" icon when there's a new comment or some such silliness.
