Anyone can sing well, and then sign a contract. It's not that hard of a process. I highly doubt she writes any of her own music anyways. They just hand her a mic and some lyrics and she does her thing.

I disagree that anyone can sing well by shoving a microphone on their faces and voila! A Pop star. She may neither be intelligent nor artistic but to make millions by almost only projecting herself is a feat itself. I believe she is more of a business woman than an artist. She's rich and still sustaining, I give her credit for that.
