Harry Potter is coola nd all, but I think the concept is just getting old now. Like the 6th one coming out; it just looks like the same idea, but different adventure.
I've read all Harry Potter books, and they are completely awesome. The movies are great too! Unlike most book-movie transitions, the Harry Potter movies don't leave out as much as most other transitions do. But that does NOT MEAN that you shouldn't read the books, please read them.
fav book: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (last one) least fav book: Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix (not sure why, I just don't like it as much)
ive read all the books seen al the movies and know so much about it ive even read quidditch through th ages and fantastic beasts and where to find them =p
me too and I really liked the Fantastic Beasts one. Surprisingly though, Harry Potter isn't my favorite series. My all-time favorite series is the Death Gate Cycle written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.
I've read all the books which i just think are amazing but the films disappointed me, like the second, chamber of secrets, the book was 10 times better. But i guess that happens with most films from books.

Harry Potter wasn't bad; I actually liked it. Character development is a bit inconsistent, but at least it's there. As for the writing style, "J.K. Rowling never met an adverb she didn't like." The verdict? Not terribly thought-provoking, but infinitely preferable to Twilight.
The movies are good, but nothing compared to the books, they are awesome. I do belive the sixth movie might actually be better than the book because the book was really boring I think. And I live in Germany so it is not out yet, no spoilers please!
You are right Purvil because the movie limits your imagination but the book gives shows you the light and you can follow it the way you want. I have like a movie going on in my head when i am reading a book.
I've read the first 3 books and see a few of the movies but overall I don't care to much for the series. I like the Eragon series better. (I'm more of a medival not alot of magic type of guy.)
