this is gonna be the help topic where everyone can share their information to help people out if they are stuck on some part of the game, and also you can share glitches/cheats whatever you have to share to help people out.
Please don't post until the game comes out public unless your a Mod or Admin then post.
here's what i did: I went back to the other worlds and faced the old bosses(since you might be able to pwn them now) And get alot of money and exp. It might take a long time but it's worth it.
Ok for people that cannot beat the Baron with either Bio (which you should be able to, saying this class has the best skill against the Baron) or Psycho (LoL) then you should read this.
Biological: This is way too easy, you don't need certain gear.
Abilities: You would want to get Disrupt 2/2 which decreases focus by 100 and dispels 2 buffs besides Earth. Now if you run out of focus then you might want to get Integrity 4/4. The Baron will kill himself by sacrificing his health for focus, about 4600 damage if i remember correctly. Oh and if you really hate the baron you might as well get Agile Exposure 2/2 I forgot what level you can get it at but i only know what it does. The Agile Exposure increases the damage taken that the opponent you just hit by 100% if i remember correctly. So that will make the buff the Baron uses to get focus more effective. Sometimes, if you get lucky, the Baron will use Holy Scars which increases the damage taken by him AND have the focus regaining thing on so he will get huge amounts of damage.
Psycho: This is the second easiest out of the three.
Abilities: Ok, you need Traumatize 2/2 so you can put 2 on your wheel. This will stun the Baron for 2 turns, reducing 15 of his focus each turn. 2 Traumatizes add up to 60 focus but thats still not enough. This is where Salvation 4/4 comes in. Use this on Veradux, increasing his healing output and decreases the damage he takes by 15%. He will heal you all. Btw the Baron sometimes uses some Electric ~~~~~ ( ~~~~= some word that i forgot) or something like that which damages you and he gets 20 focus back for 2 turns. This is where your Shock Therapy skill should come into use. He will get back only 20 focus after you use Shock Therapy on him, dispelling the buff. It also does decent damage, i remember crit'ing 1200's on him. You would also want the Electric ~~~~~ because it gives you focus, lol. Keep doing this and you will beat the Baron, especially if he owns himself with the Holy Scars- Focus regenerating skill (I forgot the name, apparently)
Yeah that's pretty much it. I hope people would get smart one day and realize that Krin wouldn't just put some dude with 60-80-100k HP (Depends on which mode you are on i.e. 60k HP= easy 80k= challenging and heroic about 100k, i forgot lol), getting the player pissed off. There would actually be a strategy to beat him. When i first fought the Baron i realized he would kill my team before we can even get him to 1/3 of his HP, so i thought of some way to beat him, and of course i found out during the battle when i used disrupt ( yes, i was a bio) against him he owned himself xD.
Zaelinx, to beat the Hounds you shouldn't use the poison damage-over-time skills. You have to kill them quickly. Now there is a little bug that i found out about doubles of the same kind. The Specialist buffs the hounds right? Well in zone 2, when there were 2 mages, top and bottom and a knight. A person named jeff123456tw mentioned the Knight only uses his guard skill on the top one, for some reason. Same thing here, the specialist does not heal (if he can, sorry, i forgot lol) the bottom hound some times. You should get disrupt and use it on the Specialist. Do not even bother disrupting the hounds, they will just normal attack you, which does a lot of damage. I recommend using a strategy that is rather effective. It uses speed, you might have heard of speed-bio builds. I use one in particular that does not have 1 major attack but 2. Get Withdrawl at max, Slash or Vicious Strike at max. Those are your two damage attacks. Get Sharp Senses, a skill needed to get Shadow Blend at the bottom left of your skill tree and max it out. Max out Shadow blend and you have your 4-move combo. In battle, first use Sharp senses. The hounds do physical damage and so does the specialist but your not really using it to defend. Next, use shadow blend. If the hounds damaged you the turn before then they are likely to target you and miss or if your not lucky, they will hit. Veradux will heal you at a time like that. You have your 2 buffs, Sharp Senses for 1 turn and Shadow blend for 2. Your Vicious Strike/Slash will benefit from both buffs but deals less damage than your Withdrawl (Lol) When i was at Zone 5 i dealed about 5k damage with this. Next, when your Sharp Senses are gone (pun, not intended) and left with your Shadow Blend lasting one more turn. Use Withdrawl and deal even more damage. The good thing about Withdrawl is not only the fact that you do a lot of damage but the fact that you heal yourself for like 4k per turn. P.S i used Vicious Strike because it heals me for 3% of my health (I didn't have lots of Vitality back then, instead i used piercing gear)
Question: How is it even possible to beat the Time Bomb on heroic? It explodes after 30 turns (30...29 after 15 turns, and 5...4 after 28 turns), so I'd need over 5000 damage a round, and that simply doesn't seem to be possible. Is there a bug causing it to be 30 turns instead of 60 for me, or is there some way to do it, or what?
I'm playing as Biological, level 14, and I need help on the 2nd area, Stage 8, with two Mages (Tricky little sneaks) and a Knight.
I can't seem to take the Mages down quick enough so they don't heal all their health at once and I can't time my Subversion attack right (Brings back memories of the first Sonny); and that bugger Knight is also a hassle.
Who do I kill first, how do I kill them, if the other two of my mates die, who do I want to die first?
Kill the mage on the bottom first, as the knight will not put a shield around HIM. whilst you are killing them stun them or use a move that will stop the mages using focus. I am a Hydraulic so don't know if you have these moves, and if you do I wouldn't know what they are called. on hydraulic use Flash Freeze to stun and Mind Freeze to stop the using focus.
After you have killed the bottom mage go for the other mage, continuing to stun him and/or stopping him from using focus. If the knight casts a shield around the mage, continue to stun the mage/ stop the mage from using focus and, if he is stunned or not allowed to use focus for several turns, use this opportunity to attack the knight.
Eventually the mage will die and then finish the knight off, which should be easy enough.
At the start of the battle put Veradux on defensive and put Roald on aggressive. As soon as the mage on the bottom has LESS health than the mage on the top, put Roald on relentless.
After both mages are dead it doesn't really matter what you put them on, so just put them both on neutral.
For Bio... I don't like the Biological class at all. Well, against the mages, equip yourself with Reform 3/3, Crystallize, and Leading Strike. This will be a long fight filled with grinding.
Try to keep the top mage Crystallized as much as possible. Put Roald on Aggressive until the bottom mage has the least health, at which point you put him on Relentless. Put Veradux on Defensive the entire time, and make sure his armor has instinct, because that is the major factor when scaling with his healing. If any of your teammates every becomes below half health, use Reform on them. Use Leading Strike immediately after using Crystallize. When the Mage goes into his Energy Phase, put Roald on aggressive until he has less health than the other mage. It is useful here to have a pure-strength move like Immobilize or Wound as the other moves won't do as much damage.
Once you have one mage destroyed, destroy the other, this time Crystallizing the Knight. Now, it's easy.
