The elite is $400, has a hard drive twice the size of the pro, comes with hdmi cable, and is completely black(awesome).
To own a pro and later decide you want the hdmi and larger hard drive would end up costing you $100. So if your running an hdtv(and you want the best possible picture), youd be dumb not to shell out the extra $100.
