I like Calvin and Hobbes the best, because of how Hobbes is so ignorant, and never does what Calvin wants, always misinterpreting him, and then his parents have no idea how to properly raise a kid like Calvin, it is just so funny seeing them all try to work out their lives. I have read the books since I was 6, and always tried to be just like Calvin (getting me in trouble many times) and then there is also how Calvin deals with school, and the numerous strips that are just saying something about life. So yeah, my favorite.
Peanuts: I have never read a Peanuts strip, but I do like the short animated movies, which they have for just about every holiday.
Garfield: I used to think it was funny, but it is just lame now. Did you know hat Jim Davis does not even draw the strips anymore? But yeah, I like most of the old ones, but it has gotten tiring.
so my vote is C&H, but you must also note that I do not get mewspapers, so I have no idea what is happening in Garfield now. can someone (a C&H fan, preferably, so it is not biased) tell me what is happening in it? Has it gotten better or worse?
One last note, I have a picture of Garfield that is signed by one of the artists that draws Garfield now, so don't get me wrong, I like it, but the strip got old for me.
Erm... Garfield is funny but it doesn't compare too Calvin and Hobbes or Peanuts/Charlie Brown.
I have read more C&H than Charlie, but the are both big classics and none of them are bad. I also love Snoopy. But i have to go with C&H, because of Calvins childhood dreams and it's plain silliness. I don't like when he becomes a space hero, though. Spike, i think it's called.
Spaceman Spiff! And the Zargs! I like Spiff, myself, he adds a nice reprieve from the normal strip, in my opinion. oh, and I prefer the Calvin from the middle of the series, not at the end when he is not like a kid anymore but an adult, and not at the start when he has not developed at all but right in the middle when he acts just like a 6-year-old. I still do like all of the though.
Calvin and hobbes, because throughout the life of this comic, the artist didn't change, and the brand of humor stayed the same of all of them Calvin and Hobbes will always be my favorite.
1. garfeld, i love animals, and that cat is funny. 2.clvin and hobbes, it is funny. it is a close second 3.Charlie brown: it is funny but there is too much charlie brown stuff
