I just wanted to know what you think about the need for speed games.
I trully like them except need for speed pro street cause i got that game andi fgured out that i can't make the cars look better they just stay stock. SO ya that is what i think.
Really, I LOVE NFS GAMES. They are the most original, interesting and exciting games. EA has always a new idea to bring and make us play NFS for hours. I remember that when i bought NFS Underground 2, I've played for 8 hours. N.F.S. IS U.M.F.! (Ultra Mega Fantastic)
i've got the need for speed:carbon, collectors edition. the story,is rather bad.
they keep showing a scene of the past where they are arrested, and lost some money but,it doesn't make a good story base.
the cars are rather limited, and you don't will not play the game if you finished it alr.
somethings i don't like is that, besides the story is that the city is generally small, you keep seeing the same old buildings pasting you by and the DLC of the game is just so banal and not rather essential in the enhancing of the game play...
Well when they made the newest one Undercover I thought that that was the same as the others it was just a remake of Most Wanted and there isn't anywhere where they can go further. It needs a new twist now to revamp it.
I like it, but it's been pretty monotone the past few years (just with theme tweaks, feature tweaks, and graphics enhancements). I've played every single one of them except for the first one.
I noticed that ever since EA Black Box took over, it's lost much in the originality department.
Here's what I mean:
Hot Pursuit 2- which was pretty good, but just an improved version of the first one.
Underground 1 and 2- which followed movies like "The Fast and the Furious".
Most Wanted- which had a few elements from GTA and Hot Pursuit.
Carbon- which was a modified Most Wanted.
Prostreet- which had many ideas gotten from simulator racers.
Undercover- which was also harking back to Most Wanted.
I'm not saying that I don't like these recent games(Most Wanted is one of my favorites actually); just that they show that Black Box is running out of ideas.
I've heard that Criterion (the same team that makes the Burnout games) would be making Need for Speed games from now on. If that's the case, then good. New team = New ideas.
