What do you think about it?
Is it wrong? Is it right?

I'm quite happy with Woody's perspective on this. I'll save myself a job typing and agree whole heartedly with him on it.

Humans can also be biologically classed as 'Animals'.

The advantages of Animal testing vary greatly.

All Animals are made up of generic 'Animal' cells, that make up tissues, and these tissues make organs and etc. Humans too.

This means that the cells in your body can easily be replaced with, say, those of a rat.

If a disease plague came about, would you rather have people do testing, and lead terrible lives, dying from disease, and generally to be used as test subjects?

Well, I think any type of testing for animals is bad. Animals will suffer from what they experience from testing, and that's just wrong it can even lead to there death.

It was sarcasm, but truth for me because i value one human life over one animal life. Second not really, but whatever theres other threads for that argument.

Well an animal can be like a human in some cases might even be more useful than a human. We both human and animals are useful to this world, and we both help each other in some ways.

We, as humans, are basically animals too. And our extremly superior brain power and ablility to solve problems effectively and creatively is an unfair advantage. but with the way humans are, no matter how "smart" it will always happen.

But I think If it's a dead animal then yes.

Testing things on animals is a neccessary evil becouse for some reason we can't use criminals.

I think it depends on what they are doing to the animal to make it wrong or right. If its a really painful thing they are doing then I say its wrong.

Testing criminals is sort of harsh don't you think maybe death row guys. It would just lead to corruption and bumping off of unwanted people.
In the Spanish/Swine flu epidemic after WWI ( WWI killed 20 million people the Spanish flu killed 25 million in 25 weeks- it took AIDS 25 years to kill that many) at a navy jail prisoners were used as test subjects. they were given the virus in several ways from injection to being spat at by sufferers of the disease. The only fatality was the proson doctor overseeing the test. Unfortunately the flu had already swept throught he prison killing many so the only prisoners left to test on where people who were immune to it rendering the test pointless.

I approve of it.
One or Two of every animal (Apart from endangered ones) is alright.
Espically if its for Medical Research it will save human lives one day.

Think about it, what would scientists do if dogs had a sickness and needed a cure, would it be right to sacrifice humans for there cure?

That's unethical. We would use dogs as they inferior morally to the government and public. Would YOU sacrifice your life for your dog or you propose have a wheel of misfortune for everyone on Earth for lab testing?

How would you do that? As you may now we are all in the monkey family.

We're not from the "monkey" family. We do branch from them. We're primates. Also, using your logic, Scientists suggest we stem from plants and fishes. So we can't eat veggies or fish now? Its survival of the fittest. The way other animals eat each other, its the same concept except sadly, we have morals. Its a dog eat dog world.

In a perfect world, I'd probably be against animal testing.

But, since we're not, I concider it a necessary evil. It's not that great, but I have yet to see human testing.
