Speed Bio can lead to some awesome nukes if you get the right skills, but it takes a long time to culture it, and you often sacrifice vitality for speed. Not always so great on heroic. Physical piercing I don't think deals quite as much damage, but it isn't so buff dependent either. You can also go with toxic bio, which is also pretty reliable; when you get it good, everything crits.

speed bio is best. and why play heroic? it's the same as easy just harder, i play games for their story lines.

Why play heroic? Because you at least have to strategize to win, enemies have at least twice the health they do in easy, and you have a time limit in which you can do attacks, all in all you need to think quicker and strategize better.

Anyways, you guys realize he is talking about the same basic build, right? He's just asking if he should get pure speed equips vs. pure physical piercing equips, since the specialist set in Z5 doesn't always have the highest speed of all equips, but always has the highest physical piercing.

Anyways, extra speed will increase the base damage of attacks like vicious strike and slash (that means non-crit damage). Physical piercing will increase the chance that you critical, and increase the extra damage dealt when criticalling, as well as a miniscule difference in base damage as well.

Basically, if your fighting against lower leveled opponents, you want physical piercing, as the higher your level, the higher your piercing is passively increased, giving you an automatic advantage over those lower leveled than you. On the other hand, if you don't think your going to critical enough for physical piercing's critical damage to affect your overall damage enough, then just go for speed.
