Okay, I think I brought this spam inviting hobby to AG on accident, and I have seen people spam unnecessarily, and for artistic purposes I do not want Dragon Cave censored (I like to post my sprites along with my drawings of them). I'm not advertising their site, I just want a thread for those of us who enjoy the dwaggies. I think that's alright.
So I create this thread for all of us to share eggs and hatchlings experiences in so that they can hopefully get a few more views and grow up. I also greatly recommend anyone who wish to join this "game" to visit the Dragon Cave forum for tips, news, and hints for their egg hunt.
If you want to ensure that your eggs hatch, get an account on a place like Daily Dragon Fix and put your eggies and hatchies up for viewing.
I think that was it. I guess everyone can post their eggs here, along with at least a sentence - I don't want any spam going on, and no multiple posting the same egg. I will delete spam made here.
I don't get it, how do you get clicks? is it from clicking the green egg I posted, or is it from doing something else? the FAQ does not explain it in detail and there is no question for it on the help page. Oh, and I have now clicked all of the eggs in the post.
Clicks is if someone click the egg, views is from someone opening the page it is on, thus seeing the eggy, unique views is if someone sees it for the first time, as I recall.
The guardians are more rare, yes, but not "worth more". Silvers, gold and other like them (alts) is really rare, and people will do much to get one.
Okay, you have posted eggs here, right? And if someone clicks the egg, transfering the clicker to the egg-site (viewdragon/code), then your egg or hatchling have gotten a click.
Cenere, you do know it's bad style to tell people what different eggs will grow up to, and how to get certain dragons? It's just against the codex...
Click = Someone clicked your egg/hatchling and loaded it's entire page. View = Someone loaded a page on which your egg/hatchling was posted. Unique view = Someone loaded a page on which your egg/hatchling was posted for the first time.
so just by going to the previous page I got a view, but I need someone to click the egg for me to get a click, then? Thank you so very much!Ok, one last question and then I shall not post here for a while, what is the shortest you have ever seen an egg hatch? I know it is usually 3-5 days, but has it ever been shorter?
... Nah. It's not like it matters here, I just know we're not allowed to do it on the DC forums. There's supposed to be an element of surprise... Though with bred eggs it's easy to just look at the parents and find out which one it looks most like.
And lul. Sorry for double posting, just imagine my previous post was placed between Destor's twin posts...
A day and a half to crack. Once it is fully cracked, it is pretty much guaranteed to hatch on the 3,49 days mark, unless it gets sick and dies. Then it's another day and a half for it to become gendered, and once the hatchling reaches its 3,49 days mark it can grow up.
This can be circumvented by fogging them. I fogged two of my eggs to prevent them from hatching so I wouldn't get a locked scroll immediately... When I unfogged them they instahatched because they were overdue. XD
Thank you all very much! I just have one last question, unfortunately. The 4/5 limit is eggs+hatchlings only, I can have as many fully grown dragons as I want? And for the 10-kill limit, is that only for clicking kill, or does it apply to deaths from not enough clicks?
You can have 100+ adult dragons on your scroll. The 10-kill limit is for pushing the kill button. If the egg or hatchling dies from soft shell or lack of views, it will not go to your kill-count.
