I don't really know, I'm new at this. According to the glossary I'm still a noob because I haven't raised a dragon to full yet, but if I'm lucky my green dragon will hatch around midnight....

Anyway I will have to look at them first to decide names, and then I will probably find the name in a dream or during a shower; I have my most profound thoughts then. Otherwise I might just go with "Destor" if it's a male, and something else if it is female. But to answer your question I will go with one name, Surnames always sem lame to me for virtual things, and besides "Destor Arkan" (Arkan is the last name I made up for Destor long ago. And yes, I have used this name since before the start of time, so I made a last name.)Is a lousy name for a dragon. So yeah, just 1 name because surname rhymes with lame for a reason.

I'm new to This and I am adopting the eggs outside the caves that are left to die.

But I am not the Mother or Father?
Do I have to make my own egg to make myself the father?

Your dragons are what are the mother+father, you have to breed them, and then you get a number of eggs which you choose 1 of, and then the rest go to the abandoned page for others to nab. And then you can watch those eggs and see how they grow up in the care of others, and they have children and etc. Please correct me if this is wrong, I only know what I have read.

oh and just one more question because of how little the site has to say about this, at what point can I name my dragon? I know only after it hatches, but can I still name it while it is an adult, or while it is has grown wings, and etc.? Mainly I want to know if I should wait until I can tell the gender of my dragons, or should I name it right a way with a name that works for both genders?

That's good, and I don't want to abandon my eggs anyway, it took a lot of work to get them to be close to hatching. Speaking of which, my green is going to go into the time-zone where it can hatch at around midnight, oooh I'm so excited!

And btw, I didn't get that tree without SACRIFICES!!! I had the opportunity to get 4 Golds and 6 Silverz, but I didn't get them for I was raising my Winter and two Pepperdolfs, and you can't get a tree if you're scroll-locked =O

Yeah, I managed to get that split only after several hundred refreshes, and several tens of clicks. I don't know why, but I just wanted a rare one and those seemed like the most "common" rare. Plus I want to know why it is split, so no spoilers! I want to figure this out on my own.

Oh, and it was waaay harder for me to get that than for any of yo to get anything, because it takes me a half of a minute to load the DC pages. I just had an amazingly timed refresh, and mad awesome clicking skills, trained from too much time playing Oblivion and having to get my attack-clicks just right. And from playing the "bullet dodge" game 50 times. I just get so bored when I see no good topics.

Oh you have no idea*42 hours in total to get Leetle Tree*...

Hence why I made the Network Timed Out Dragon, on the previous page, my and a lot of people had their Internet fail repeatedly, unfortunately not that many people got them, I got lucky. However since so many people were going after the trees, that was the chance to go after the rares =P
It's not like the trees and rares are dropping like Halloween Eggs, bleh, that was too easy, although I only got one, was too lazy to get more.

Hatchling time! Oh yeah! I need two more answers, though. Does the timer reset every time my dragon grows, like if I get wings tomorrow, will the timer say 7 days again, or keep counting. And also what is the difference between the normal code and the one with tiny URL?Is there any difference at all, or is it just for different forums?

No, the hatchling has 7 days to live before it dies, it should mature sometimes within*can't remember I'll find the approximate day for you if you want*, then I believe it loses the timer and only has to accumulate a little bit more views/clicks to grow up, but once it matures it's pretty much watch and wait.
Also, I'm not exactly sure what the tinyURL is, I just know they are not reliable and you shouldn't use them, they have a tendency to 'fail' sometimes.
