well, I have to say the rarest thing I own is...ummm...hmm...Oh! My rare stone collection! I used to collect rocks back when I was little, and now I have all of them turned into animals of different types.

Also, I have an antique handmade whale carving from the early 1900's. And a hand-knitted one-of-a-kind rug from early in the 1800's. It was used for traveling by my grandmother's great-grandmother (I don't know how many great- s that would be. lol)

hmmm...what else.....oh, a copy of the Brothers Grimm from the 1800's as well! It's a childrens version of it, which means it has all the blood and gore, but there's pictures. lol.

...I think that's it! But I'll write back if there's anything else.

Take care of that Colt Erasmus.
Rare items, I've got a few old English coins from the turn of the century. I've got a Soviet Mosin Nagant from 1945, but that's not rare. I think I've got some other things but I can't quite recall them just now.

Oh, I will. Unfortunately, it was already in rough shape when I got it, but it's still the neatest piece I own.

Also, the Mosin-Nagant may not be rare, but that doesn't make it any less fun to shoot at the range. Those things don't go BANG, they go BOOM.

I don't know, I don't really have anything old that is worth of value.

I do have a few foreign coins, but none of them are really that old.
There are some woodworks in my house that are pretty old...

Hmm, the most valuable thing would have to be a coin I found under our old carpet floor that was from spain worth 10 cents over there.

let's see...

-a silver dollar from 1878

-a genuine $2 bill (before they stopped making them, and yes they really existed its not fake)

-a gold pocketwatch (idk what karat) that my great grandfather recived for saving a drowning man's life in the winter

-a lighter from when my dad was in the Navy and recieved it as a personal reward for performing an emergency weld on another ship

-dog tags and several medals my grandfather recieved in WW2

-a four-foot long elk antler with six points (thats one antler, it was a 12 point buck in total!)

-the actual certificate of citizenship my ancestors recived from when they immigrated over from Italy through Ellis Island

ummm... yeah
