Rock for me is 8/10 Pop is 0/10/ i hate pop. worst music ever. Metal 9/10 my favorite type of music, as long as the song has a little singing in it, not all screaming.
rock 9/10 nothing to say, there are so many different kinds of rock, but i like that rock music is played with instruments and not played on a cd in the backround while someone's singing like pop. pop 0,006/10 coz it's few pop stars who write their own songs, which sucks, music is about musical talent and not being good-looking, the pop needs a new band like the Beatles
metal 9/10 I don't listen to that much metal, but I've noticed that in metal it's all about the music, and everybody is most often skilled with their instruments
rock is the greatest thing that ever happened to me, especially classic rock pop is awful, and is just a mixed voice of an untalented act (like the jonas brothers) with garage band in the background metal is amazing, especially when you listen to a lot of it then your heart is like pounding; metal gives people an adrenaline rush
Rock/Alternative Rock is no doubt my favorite genre, with bands like Foo Fighters, Rise Against, and Billy Talent at the top of my list.
Pop is merely all right. There's some talent present, and the songs are catchy, but are only so because they are created to be so. Instead of writing music to write music, the pop starts try their best to write something that sounds good and appeals to a wide range of people.
Metal...Hmm, it kind of depends on the mood I am in. I'm not into black metal or any of that "underground" stuff, simply because after a while, it all sounds the same to me. Scream scream scream, double bass on the drums, and a palm-muted rhythm guitar part.
