ehm Watershed is amazing, heir apparent is the best song, but they're all great.

I think Watershed is a very good album, what with Heir Apparent and The Lotus Eater, but compared to Opeth's other work, it is really unmemorable. I'd say, second worst album of theirs, next to Orchid.

My favourite album for the year was Gojira's The Way of All Flesh or Appeal to Reason by Rise Against

blooddrunk by children of bodom was alright, overcome by all that remains, was... alright...

the dethalbum is awesome, but it was released in 2007

I'd say Narrow Stairs by Death Cab for Cutie.

Give it a listen sometime.

Appeal to Reason by Rise Against. That album is getting them more known.

Either A Sense of Purpose by In Flames, Ultra Beatdown by DragonForce, or Overcome by All That Remains.

Death Magnetic by Metallica was probably the best album of 2008
