Hello, again.I have come to the understanding that the German Lepord II MBT ( main battle tank ) rivals The M1 abrams in fire power, armor, speed, and overall cross-country preformance.

I personally still think the M1 Abrams is at least slightly better than the Lepord II, but what do you think?

Based on armour firepower and mobility my top 3 tanks would be the #1 Leopard #2 the Challenger 2 and then #3 the Abrams

So you're all saying the Lepord II would crush us here in the U.S?

I wouldnt say that it would 'crusj it' personnel skill does come into it. Historically the Germans have always had good tanks and drivers. Bu based on firepower mobility and armour then yes the Leopard is superior.

No. The challenger and the Leopard are both superior in firepower, armour and mobility. The Abrams is tsill a great tank though. 3rd best aint bad.

What about the T-90? would the latest soviet ( er russian ) tank stand a chance against an Abrams or Leapord?

Its all in context. Position etc. On the quality of the tank the M1 or the Leopard would probably come out on top.

Germans know how its done although like I said before I would like to see the worlds best drivers have a go at each other in them

(Drivers as in The Best Tank crew for that tank)

NO I don't mean shoot each other just get a lock on them or make a simulator which would be great

in a manner designed to win the dogfight.

A dogfight is attributed to aerial combat between fighter aircraft not tanks.

n a manner designed to win the dogfight.

Aerial? harharharhar, man can't fly, fool.

Then where did you learn the term dogfight? It was originated in the trenches of WW1 comparing the noise of the engines to the noise of dogs.

The endless hours of 'history of the RAF' during Initial Officer Training cements info like this into your brain. When pilots in WW1 fought each other they would have to turn off their engines when turning in the same direction as their torque otherwise they would stall. The constant turning on and off of the engines sounded like dogs to onlookers and thus the name dogfight was born.
