I don´t know if someone played games like that, but I really hate browser games. You have to play RPGs in a browser and without 3d or 2d graphics. So, you only manage your character by a control panel. I think they suck. What do you think?
I made a topic about this already. It died fast as no one even played them. I like Base Ship and play it every month when it starts up. I also played Tribal Wars, but that just eats up all your time, but fun and addictive.
As browsers become more and more powerful and cloud computing becomes more and more a reality, browsers used for gaming is actually the future. Nvidia just released information that allows browsers to make use of their 3d accelerators(read: video cards), thus enabling browsers to be used for serious gaming. To be honest, that's the primary limitation right now. Sure, for any game to be good, there's gotta be a lot of data downloaded (for textures, graphics, sounds, etc), but that can all be cached in the browsers after the first download.
Eventually, when cloud computing becomes the norm, so will gaming within a browser of sorts.
