Do you think that computer gaming is dieing? Since the consoles are taking over and company's don't want to release games on PC because they get torrented.

Also if you know a game or company that is PC exclusive list it.

Nah. There are less computer games, that's true, but it's not dying. Not only is it full of MMORPG's/MMO's, it also has a lot of console games ports, commercial games, and even some original games. But it's definetely not DYING.

Well they are making more and more games for x-box 360 and not releasing them for pc they released some but they won't release GOW2
and maybe not fable 2 and Halo 3. I'm not arguing the topic I'm just describing what I see.
Anyway good thing there is Valve and Half life series PC exclusive XD

I don't think it's dying. Games like World of Warcraft are played by millions of people and free MMORPGs are all over the place. Anyway, they'd be fools to let it die. Think about it, most people own a computer, but not every form of game console. So, especially for a smaller game manufacturer, wouldn't it be better to produce games for the computer as it could reach a larger target audience without having to be made playable on all the difference systems.

Yes but most game are torrented and game developers are losing money making them for the pc due to the mass amount of torrenting.

definitely still alive. might even be growing, MMORPGs are making loads of money, and flash gaming sights like this probably make something on adds.

no i don't think it is the games for it are but people will still be playing games for it the only problem is that with all the new consuls that look so good but if things like xbox360 and ps3 there hard to play games on like rts its better and faster to play with a mouse more then a controller and its more fun and the same gos shooter games and things like that.

Look at Blizzard. Aside from their MASSIVE failure for porting Starcraft to the Nintendo 64, they are strictly a PC gaming company, and probably one of the most profitable game companies right now. PC gaming is definitely not dying. RTS, MMORPG, and FPS are all still better played with a mouse and keyboard. And as devilofchoice61 mentioned, console graphics can't touch PC graphics. There are about, what, like 25 games that ACTUALLY run at 1080p? Almost every game released in the past 4 years supports 2560x1600, or 1600p, for the PC. And if you have the hardware, you're looking at 16xAA and 8xAF. Try that with a console, haha.
