World of Darkness. This is a good story telling game, and the nWoD is, to me, one of the best games in generel.
The different corebooks are Mortals (the WoD corebook): How it is to be a mortal in a world gone wild. Everything seem eerie, and even what seem like a suicide might be much much more.
Vampire: To be a predator of the night, without all the silly myths. This concept gives a nice, believable image of the vamps.
Werewolf: Strong beasts with strong enemies. If you like the life of weird families, well, this is your game. The descriptions make sense, even!
Mage: Mortal, but with more power. Everything humanity might have hoped for, ever, but the insight might cause you to go insane.
(Besides those there are Promethean (frakensteinish monsters), Changelings (corrupted by the Fey), Hunter and Innocents (children in a deadly world)) ------------
So, I would like to know if any of yu have ever played/read/heard of these games, and what your impression is. What are your favorite game, and what are your favorite species. Best abilites/powers, and maybe a nice little introduction of your character?
