Fascism is a form of government in which the country and state are put above the individual. Where one most work hard for the soul purpose of his country and his country men.
The problem I have is that people often think Fascism is Nazism. it is quite the other way around. Hitler was a fascist true, but that doesn't mean that every fascist most kill the jews and be totalitarian. Mussolini, for example, had a pretty good approval rating. Hitler over shadowed Mussolini's acceptional leadership by having fascist Italy join them in the second world war. Italy only joined in for the fine machineary and the hope for a second Roman Empire ( which failed ). Japan was a fascist like empire but they had no history of persecuting the Jew ( if they had any jews to persecute.) and if they did, it was because of Nazi pressure.

From an ideological point of view they are. However in practice dictators of any ideology end up being similar in the end. It would be interesting to see a dictator that was a force for good not evil, arguably the best possible regime would be a benine dictator.

That aggressive form of nationalism is a key component of fascism. I dont belive it is right. It dehumanises the individual and takes away many of his/her rights. As a liberal I am totally against this.

Like i said i don't want it to be law, I my self put my country and it's people above as more important than my life, but I don't expect everyone to do so.
However Fascism is extreme right, its purpose is to put power in the hands of the state.
In true communism, power is to be put in the hands of the people THE EXACT OPPOSITE
But with human greed, any one can call them selves a benevolent dictator and the two government types, Stalist-communism and Fascism can result in a similar way when it comes to treatment of the citiznes.
And my probelm i'm trying to discuss is that eeryone beleives that it you're a fascist then then you're a nazi, which is probably 80% false because there is still a percentage of neo-nazis left in the world
Fascist economies havent exactly fared much better over time. The Nazipolicy of becoming an autarky wasnt too successful. The only way unemployment was kept down was through massive govt projects where workers got paid less than if they were on the dole!
meh ppl say that oh its on the opposite sides of the spectrum.. again political scientists have determined that instead of thinking of it as a straight line think of it as a curve or a circle almost meeting... Communism and Fascism are very close together... The whole country is almost equal, if not equal.... The power in communism does reside mostly in the fov't again, because it is the government who decides how every one will be the exact same.. Which is why when Germeny was split in 2 one side sucked major ass... The government decided that everyone there had to have nothing in order for everyone to be equal.
Anyways i personally think that Facsism is a good gov't type as the power resides in the gov't and it has been proven (esp through germany during ww2) that it did work for there economy.
Fascism is the worst kind of government, alongside communism, but it is probably worse than communism because people who live in fascist governments get everything taken from them.

In Fascism, both in theory and practice the people must be controled almost entirely by their state and give their lives away for there country.
i would choose communism because there's a chance people can sit down and run it correctly when human nature has been trained to not be tempted by greed ( which few people can controle. )
But to keep this from being a comparison to Fascism V. Communism, Fascism is a one-way ticket to a totlitarian state. But my problem is that people think just because you're a fascist, you hate jews and adore Hitler. There are fascist groups in Europe who don't always support Nazism too you know.
