Forums → Games → which is better gears 1 or gears 2?

personal preferance but gears 2 has more maps more wepons better graphics great story line and the ability to play horde makes it 10x's better itslef.

I like Gears 2 better.Its sooo cool.But Gears 1 is still really good too.

Gears of War is way better in Gears 2 online play sux the sniper isnt worth anything and smoke grenades are just gay sure it has some great new weapons and a great campaign but the multiplayer killed it for me i still play it and am excited for the sequel just not as good as the original

Gears of war 1 is crap and gears of war 2 is like japanese people stepped out of the way

Gears 2 has Horde which i found really fun and gears 1 is way to easy. I have to say Gears 2

i never played Gow 1 btw i was blown away b y GOW 2

Well sniping is sooooo easy on gears 2 and it all around easier to play than the first one

Gow 2 is much more better. The weapons, graphics, story line, multiplayer, horde.... I could continue the list forever....

yeah i love horde on gears 2

i like gears of war 2 much better i think for online and i love the achiement system on it
