right or wrong? he faced oppression from the agressivley conservative state of Indainapolis. And he gave plenty of food to people without looking at skin color or social rank.
He also brainwashed 900+ people to kill themselves. Those who refused to take the cyanide were shot. He also had investigators killed, including a US congressman who tried to stop the mass suicide. Not sure where in the hell you get off saying he did something right...
I ment in the beginning whne he fed poor people, I ment was the original thought right? Yes, he went insane and killed hundreds but that was a result of pressure he couldn't handle and insanity. basically I thought he wanted to do good, but he went mad and did the worst thing a man who has pwer could do.
Well, asking if this guy was a "good" guy is a bit like sports. Every season, the best teams lose some, the worst teams win some(unless you're the Detroit Lions). Just because he fed some people doesn't mean that you can ignore the fact that he led them all to their deaths.
I personally think you are crazy to even consider thinking he was a good person... ever! He told his followers to kill their families so they wouldn't be noticed as they slipped away to Jonestown. Then he brainwashed them even more until he convinced them that the world is terrible and that they would be more content with just dieing!

I said in the beginning for the 50th time!!! He turned bad later after he went completely insane!!.
I was asking what you though, I personaly think he was just insane. Trying to do good and eventually thought death was a nice way to run things. ( BAD )
NO! He was insane to begin with! People just didn't see him that way! He faked healings, beat members who disobeyed (that is, IF they we're lucky)! How can anyone call him a good person?!?!?!
