And Japan is currently #1 slightly. Obama will make America #1 soon enough = )

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Wow, i gotta tell you, Obama is the best speech maker since Hitler. He has every one hypnotized into thinking that he can magically soup up the economy that WILL crash and cannot be saved at this point (stocks reached record low in 3 months today), people think that he will provide free health care without raising taxes, but the only possible way to have free health care is with more taxes, and people think that there bills will be paid.

There were people who were actually saying things along the lines of:

"I am so exited for the new economy where all my bills will be paid and i will not have to worry about money".

I gotta hand it to Obummer, he is one hell of a talker.

These poet laureates keep getting worse and worse. Wish Robert Frost was still around.

He's still alive??? Oh goodie I've always wanted to meet him...

@Ricador
You should be president, your very smart on this matter and you obviously know how to fix our problems so I think you should run next time, PM me so I know which candidate you are so I can ote for you btw, cause I won't be able to tell and then I'd be sad if you don't win =(
[rant]uh oh...
Please, because I am extremely annoyed at the remarks and opinions I've seen today, not really here nor directed at you Ricador, just other people who've said what you mean but in a stupid manner, I will rant in opposition to those people's opinions...
No matter who became president will not be able to fix our economy easily, at least he's atomistic and getting people off the couch to actually give a crab about our country's state rather than some people who would rather just sit here complaining and whining about it but not contributing themselves, I know plenty of people who criticized him in school but they have no place doing so for they are simply Sophomores in High School who sit in the back failing World History(how again?) and listening to their iPods.
We need someone with a positive view on things right now for the majority of America has lost a lot of basic common sense towards everything in this world. We are at war with people who are just waiting for us to fall apart so that they may take over or just celebrate and laugh at us as we try and tape together our government and such, so far watching TV and saying 'yeah that's a good idea' hasn't solved our problems. As far as I'm concerned we may be 2nd best compared to Japan, as I know nothing of their economic state or anything about their society, I fear that America, who is supposed to be leading as example for the rest of the world, is as Shintetsu said, not much. I won't even bother with racist people, they are what I consider ignorant by my own personal opinion for we are all human and unless someone can bring me proof that the pigment amounts in one's skin can completely change the species of a person, my opinion stands.[/rant]
There, now that my harmless rant on a flash-game site has been posted, I can effectively continue to roll my eyes and laugh my butt off for the rest of my life =P w00t!

So who threw a party btw? Just wondering there was a couple of people going to throw one at my school.

It can be argued that, because Obama and Roberts messed up the oath of office, that Obama isn't officially the president.

And compared to his other speeches, Obama's inaugural address is an epic fail.

I seriously want to know: Are you kidding? Japan is not a world power. Not even a little bit.

Japan is so great because they are living on the well-known, ancient culture of hard-work, honor, and respect.
But that does not make them a world power. Also, don't forget it was built on a well-known culture of torture, imperialism, oppression, whaling, and a general disrespect of life.

He said the whole thing, 1.5 people witnessed it, Chief Justice Roberts acknowledged that he's the new president. Don't be that guy.

It was great speech, but he's definitely done better. You can label it an "epic fail" if you wish, but it's definitely better than a hell of a lot of other people can do.

You guys are ridiculous. Go do some research. Obama didn't screw anything up, the Justice did.

I agree that the poem was pretty lame. I expected more out of a Yale poetry professor.

And the other thing wasn't racist. Go re-watch it and pay attention to the words.

And Obama is a very good speaker. Although he has a speech writer, he is able to talk for a long time, very eloquently, without any cards, or paper. I think that is pretty impressive.

I thought his inaugural address was exceptional. And Obama made sure to say it right, even though the justice got it wrong. So there is no argument over whether he is president or not.

Well, the only thing I worry about is that ABC covered the "coronation" all day yesterday.

It was on when I woke up at 7AM, and they were showing the president and his wife dancing at every single ball all night!!! They ended at like 3AM!!! Seriously, there's a limit to how much I can take watching a middle-aged couple dance the same exact choreographed dance over and over again. And again. And again. SERIOUSLY!!! watching that stoopid dance once is enough!!! TEN times is just torture!!! >(
