If the topic was answered, or a duplicate, then it is locked. If it was answered, well, then you have the answer, if it was a duplicate, then there is a link or two to places where you can find the answer.

Points just indicate your rank by how many games rated, comments made, forum posts posted, games submitted and merits earned. In no way can you 'spend' armor points on anything.
And there is absolutely no point for you guys to point out that he was right. You should only have posted if there was something to be corrected/added.
But yeah, that's the stuff you have points for. Don't worry about points, they don't really do anything.

Yes. The way you asked the question, was "for what do I have points". That was answered already in the second post there.
