no, actually I know these people pretty well. I actually know some kids who actually become emo because their girlfriend broke up with them. I know tons of people who have much worse problems than me, which isn't hard because I have a very good life, but none of them are emo. I've found that the emos are the ones who make too big of a deal about their little problems.
Once again, ignoring the people with the normal sized and big problems. And yes, most emo kids do want sympathy, but alot actually deserve it. It's called clinical depression. Makes you sad. And do irrational things... and be in fetal position for hours on end...

I'm not ignoring anyone. I'm basing this off of my own experiences, and I've found that the people with the big problems deal with it like normal people.
There are many posers that imitate the emo style, but inside they are just normal peeps without any emotional problem. Don't think emo is something to show-off with lol

Hey don't try and blame the punks for these pathetic sniveling creeps. As far as I can tell (having been unfortunaltly and misguidedly labelled both in thpast few years) where emo is more about implosion and "clinical depression" punk is much more about explosion and "Anarchy/Anti-Christ". If anyone remembers the Donny Tourette episode of Never mind the Buzzcocks you will see a shining example of a punk in action.
