God is coming back very soon. He will rapture up the true believers and leave the rest. Only knowing God can save you from being left behind. When you die and go to your judgment you go alone. Your friends can't help you. Good deeds aren't enough to get into Heaven. John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so whosoever believeth in him shall not parish but have everlasting life. For god didn't send his son to condemn the world but to save it" Translated it means God gave his son to die for us and if we don't know him we shall perish eternally in the pits of Hell. Knowing God will get you into Heaven and that alone. Amen

Also, in the quote you gave, it didn't specifically say that nonbelievers would go to Hell. It just said that believers would go to Heaven. Once again, open for interpretation.
