Title explains it all. What makes a good game and seperates it from the pack.
Personally I think if the gameplay is a little more original and there is atleast some sort of a plot that develops overtime, it will be better then most.
if its somthing new and well done preferably a game with saving so you dont have to stomach the whole thing in one go that way you can make it much longer and still enjoyable
-If it's an RPG. -A Good original plot. -Gripping soundtrack. -Excellent artwork. -At least 1/2 a year put into it, if it's a short game to make, just go over and perfect everything. -Convenient controls.
A really good game takes more than one day to beat, preferably like a week (though if your objective is to make a quick time killer...ignore my comment)
Something like Warfare 1917.I guess it has to be a good plot, graphics and a little bit complicated. Or [/i]The Last Stand's[/i],which are fun and have a good plot, and graphics.
A good game has a good combinations of goodthings for a good game. (e.g good graphics, good gameplay, good controls and a good storyline.) And keep it simple like Flagg said.
