First off you start with 500 points, instead of buying the Single shot Kar (i think it is) wait until you reach 600 points to buy the M1 Carbine, this way we get more bullets and a faster Shot/per sec. Use only this gun and keep stocking up on ammo untill we reach round 5. By now you should have - 2 people (roughly 3500 points each) 3 people (roughly 2700 points) 4 people (roughly 2300 points)
Now here is where the ultimate tactic comes in, many make the mistake to open the help door straight away. **were not going to do that!** instead one of you open the stairs to go up, i know now youre thinking, "What the hell? what about my random guns damit!" this is where we open the DOWNSTAIRS, leaving the hell door closed and the zombies only two ways to get at you, down the stair way, or through the windows. if there are only two people playing at the time, make sure one has a Deploable gun, and a back up. or a laser gun and a spare. whilst the other covers and repairs any broken windows. If you do infact get the ray gun and it runs out of ammo, you may either keep it and hope max ammo drops (which it may due to the quantity of zombies comign at you), or get rid of it to make space for a new gun as backup.
Well this should help you get past round 20 ( Easily )

Ive been to round 21 with two people by opening the help room (the room with the random weapon box) door and then retreating upstairs. I then camped in the corner by where you buy the grenade on the wall with a PTRS and ray gun. My friend had a ray gun and MG42. I have been to around 20 with your tactic as well
Whats best to get most points in the first 4 levels is to shoot the zombies 7 times each(thats 70 points) and finish them off with a knife, +130 points. You get 200 points a zombie.
