But if the chats are not created by Ag why do people say that is an unofficial AG chat?
Official chats were created by AG themselves, and they announce that the chat room is open to the public. Members abused this, again, so they just axed the chat room feature.
What they didn't do is to be able to moderate the chat room fully. I wouldn't blame them though; they really didn't have enough moderators to spread the team over two locations. That is why there are "unofficial" chats made by AG members, but isn't fully announced by the AG staff.
Really though, if you want a moderated chat room, just visit my about page for details. You really don't have to worry about spam, flaming, and other such things.
