I didn't even need to play the emulator to play those games I have the actual consoles =) Even the giant Gameboy original that's bigger than the Nintendo Double Screen. Youngin's can't appreciate 8, 16, and 32 bit systems that created so much creativity in games. Back then, it was FUN over how good it looks. Not so much anymore....
Modern games in present time are like roses. They're beautiful at first, but dies after a while.

I have those to Shin!
Anywayz on topic, I think the older games offer a more challenging storyline which in turn makes the game a lot of fun for me.
it is true ALL of the best games started off as low bit games, super mario, wario games, megaman (ownage series), final fantasy (1-6 suck ass 7 owns 10/10 8 sucks 9 sucks 10 owns 10-2 is stupid, 11 is definatly the best game ever made so far, and 12 is sick), and of course DONKEY KONG.
and they have not died with some kids, hell i play almost every good game from the 1900's
Older games? You've hitten a master here! I still worship the almighty Ps1 and do have a game boy POCKET,a super nintendo and a Genesis (Sonic hailed on this thing hooray) I used to play Zelda Dx on my gameboy along with pokemon games,on wich I'm an expert (and when I say expert....) Sonic the hedgehog 2 is still one of my favorite game because it's the first one I played as a child, and I never get bored of playing metropolis or chemical plant stages. I've played All donkey kong games, along with mario ones (Super mario Rpg!) I know how to appreciate new games, but oldies are just fantastic. I miss this playstation 1 game called ''Jumping flash''...god was it awesome.
