How can you prove that there is no God.

You can't prove or disprove God. Why would God leave actual proof of himself? What would be so wonderful about believing indisputable fact? You need to have FAITH. That's what makes religion such an important topic in some people's lives.

God doesnt need to prove anything. All you need to do is just believe in him.If god shows his-self, everyone will be asking him for many things.Just like BigP08 said have Faith

What is prayer if it isn't asking/thanking god for stuff. Wanting to be alone can't be a reason for staying "mysterious" for someone who creted people to praise himself.

Just like BigP08 said have Faith

I do have faith, just not in God. I don't understand why it's necessary to either believe or not believe in God. I believe agnosticism is the smartest thing to do. You don't have to worry about the how of life, just the why. All you you gotta worry about is what you're going to do with your life. Makes it a lot easier if you just focus on that instead of dividing your time wondering how we came to be.

If I could see God enacting all my prayers rather than believe he is doing so, I might have a very different list. Having faith rather than fact allows people to be less selfish in their desires.

I like the old Gods that had power equal to how many worshipers they had. The more who pray for you, the more powerful you were.

Warning: do not attempt to try and prove god doesnt exist in this way.

well one way to try and do this is to die and get in to heaven. then plead god (if he exists) to send you back to the living earth. then you can post back and tell us your answer. of course, if heaven and hell doesnt exsist then...

Critical Warning! do not attempt to try and prove god doesnt exsist this way.

I read the first post...

How can you prove that there is no God.
lol. What a way to start a topic! Someone is really desperate for ways to disprove Christianity...

Ignorance is bliss, right? fail. After a period of ignorance, curiosity killed the cat. wait...what? the second sentence doesn't make sense...you don't have to worry about the how, just the why? So you are saying all there is to life is deciding whether or not it is worth living? I think you had a typo there...

No, I'm saying instead of worrying about how humans and other life came to be, we worry about what we want to do with our life instead. The reason I say why is because you're asking, Why am I here, making you think of what you're meant to do with your life.

Oh, that makes sense. I still think a good faith is important to help guide you along issues in which there is no one human definition of morality, but you're right, we shouldn't spend all our time thinking about where we came from.

two atheists tried proving this...they met and plotted out everything. 2 years of research later, they were two christians because no proof was found-->true story

Yeah, that's exactly what my belief is, except I'm not defining the force behind the big bang as God. Just some higher power, which doesn't necessarily have to be God.

I'm glad you agree with me to an extent.

Buddhism > Christianity
Even though i am a atheist, i believe that we are not here for a purpose or because of some greater being, its just a coincidence of very improbable events that are actually very likely to happen. (Read the hitchhiker guide to the galaxy)
