I think this might of been brought up before, or maybe I just think it should of been.
A mobile version of AG would be amazing. I just thought about this because, while on my iPod Touch, I went to load the Community and it showed up ad just basic HTML without all the backgrounds and such. It also loaded roughly three times as fast.
I realize it might be a pain to actually do this, and I'm not even sure how many other folks get on AG via mobile devices. Yet if there are a good amount, an AG stripped of all the fancy coding would be great. Even for people who do not have a speedy connection and find that the site is chugging a little.
And for the record, making a topic here while being a mod feels -so- odd. XD
Well yeah. I made this topic a while ago, a text-based AG. And from what I saw it exists, as you said it's the plain and simple stripped AG. If you mean a really simple color coordinated CSS one that still looks good and loads insanely fast. Would be a good project, but from what I hear they are trying to optimize the code for the site, so that should help. But yeah a nice looking simplified version would be cool. :0)
I have been thinking about this too! I think it would be awesome as well. Sometimes I try to visit the site through my iphone, and not only do the pop-up adds annoyingly open up another browser window taking you away from the site, but it takes for ever to load and you have to zoom in to see anything on the site. It would be nice if there was an easier and faster way to navigate. Once the site is a little more optimized and we start seeing some new features, I will bring it up with the admins.
It is quite small on my Iphone, and it's quite a pain to have to zoom in to see what people have written in the forums and on games. It'd be nicer if it was in larger text, so one can read it.

Yes exactly, a simplified version would do wonders. Instead of the fancy graphics they could do it in CSS, which would make the site load much faster. But I don't know how they would work ads..
