Hi,

I play Sonny 2 since yesterday. I have some questions. my set is for sonny is this:

http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/8954/equiphj9.jpg

But...is this the best? I have read that there are better gloves, leggings and shoes somewhere but i dont know where.

For the other team mates: Veradux seems to need strength so i gave him the "death sentence". Does he need something else? I ask because I also have the "Supremacy" but it has less strength but more instinct.

And what does Roald need? I gave him the "death sentence" too but it seems he doesnt do so much damage with it.

Can someone tell me what the best set for a psycho and the rest of the team (including felicity)?

That would be fantastic. I tried to find such a topic before i started this one but didnt find exactly what i need.

So...regards

Drizzt

Veradaux relies on strength for his normal melee attacks, but they suck no matter what strength you give him. His instinct allows a stronger electro bolt and healing, so I suggest that over strength. Vitality gear is the best though, to keep Veradaux alive. Supremacy over Death Sentence for him.

Give Roald Vitality gear as well, although you could always trade him or Veradaux for Felicity for more damage. Roald serves well as a punch dummy.

hm ok. i had for veradux in the beginning a complete instinct set but he does so often melee attacks so i changed the set. now he does instead of 280-300 1800-2500 damage. Bolts do less damage but they dont come so often. Would be better to say what skills they should use. i gave him the supremacy now. I hope it is the right choice.

One more question: If you have an item "a" with str +6 and physical dmg +37 and an item "b" with str +20 which one is better? I guess you get more dmg with more strength but can i say 1 str point is 1 dmg point? item "b" requires a higher lvl so it should be better but I do not know how i can calculate this.

Well, actually this is how healing works:
Number of instinct x 5 = healing
Number of strength x 1 = healing
Pretty much you add them up.

You mean physical piercing, right? Not dmg?

Well, piercing helps improve critical hit damage and chances of critical, but it isn't very useful against enemies of levels around you. It's only useful when battling enemies of a lower level. Then it's devastating.

for vera, dont even give him supremacy, just keep wrath of teh council on him, and ignore piercing, if ur a phyco, well yea wrath of coucil still, or supremacy.

hmm, I would advise Supremacy over both Wrath and DS for Veradux, he's the type of a person that uses both strength and instinct. Yes, giving him higher instinct helps for healing, I have visioned him more as a debuffer than a healer.

Roald has use for strength only, so DS is the perfect weapon for him. His only 'healing' move does some healing that depends on strength, as far as I have seen. Felicity seems to have the best use of strength gear as well, she also has Slash attack that uses speed.

About piercing - well, the only piercing that matters in Sonny is ice, poison and lightning, and if you are the kid who attacks with these elements, get yourself Wrath of the Council and you're set for piercing. The rest of piercing mods are too small and can be safely ignored. While you are not able to wield Wrath (which means that you're in the process of passing the game), use the weapons that give you best piercing, if they give some good amount of corresponding stats. For poison bios, the set from Z4 gives both strength and piercing, and might be preferred to stat gear.

No - Instinct isn't very good for healing on Vera - Use strength - he only heals u for 800 crit healing when he has really good instinct - Strength is way better

Roald requires Vitality for a punch dummy, or strength for extra power - The secret police set has the best strength so put that on Roald, and Veraduax, meanwhile you can deal as much damage needed :P

no Highfire, there's a code in PVP, I have seen Veradux deal 3700 with a crit, and he was geared in full instinct as far as I can tell.

That's not what happens on me - 800 is best...
He has nearly full Instinct - Just missing wrath of the council

Your vera may be stunted or something, then, because his heal goes up a LOT with instinct. Tough luck .

BTW, if you are looking for "better" equipment, some items give more instinct than what you are wearing. I can't really check right now what they are, but I know that Biteproof Pants (the pants from Caretaker, I don't know what it is in German... it's the guy with the dogs) have more instinct. You might not like them, though, because I think you lose a lot of vitality.

Roald can do well as a punching bag, and kind of all right as a damage dealer. Give him either the Royal or the Colonel's set (the red or blue armor). Felicity needs full strength, and nothing but strength. Give her Royal set and DS. You should get enough speed and vitality for her from that.

How you build your teammates really depends on what your own build is. So take your strengths and weaknesses into account and try to use your teammates to fill your holes.

I just realized that "fill your holes" sounded really bad :/...

And my first line was directed at Highfire, and the rest was at the OP.

Actually, Veradaux always seems to heal for around 4000-5000 critical for me.

veradux heals 1800crit for me and attacks 2000crit...with a bit more strength than instinct. and i noticed too that the biteproof pants have more instinct but i think the set is ok now because the items with more instinct have worse stats in agility and other attributes. I had 100 agility because i skilled only instinct thats why I use some speed and agility items now. At Colonel I crit 30k with that set.

But I do not know why I should play with Felicity. She crits very often but does only 1600-1800dmg and has low hp...
