Hey! I got this really bad idea I wanna share with you. If a user is online, but is idle it should have a yellow button beside your armatar on your profile instead of green or red. And if someone is playing a game there should be the armorgames "shield". I hope you understand! =)
I do understand and it sounds like a nice idea. Although there was something that they didn't wanted to make the personal page to big because it would load slower then.
I see what zega means. I like the idle idea, but being idle is just as good as being away really, because I will leave with my account still logged in, so I really don't see this making a big impact on the world. But I do think that the shield thing is a nifty idea, but again not sure of the purpose. Would just be interesting. One step closer to stalking like on facebook I suppose! :P
I like the idea of having a shield when you're playing a game. Strop said it himself that the idle icon isn't very useful due to the fact that the server isn't fast enough.
Another suggestion to the idea: How about if there is an icon next to each persons username on the friends list. That would help to see if you're friend is online way quicker.
What's facebook? 0:
Is this a joke? Or do you mean it?
Facebook is a website that allows you to get into touch with people all over the world. You an talk to relatives, friends, comrades etc... There are loads of different ways to talk and communicate on Facebook.
One of the problems on Facebook is that anyone can see your personal information, unless you configure security preferences, which few do. The other problem is that complete strangers want to be your friend, which isn't very safe.

But the idea is still very similar. After all, we're asking for a new type of dot beside our name.
Just because I meant something didn't mean I meant another thing thats similar...
Like if I said: "Hey, I'm making a game! Do you have any suggestions on how the music should be? Maybe Classic?" and then I added rock. But hey hey, maybe I'm pushing things to far and digging into the same topic more and more.
