Patience, my friend, Tabuu usually takes a few tries to defeat. I'd recommend a character thats good at jumping and running, though.

get characters with strong air attacks like sonic to beat him. i would recommend getting your best character, sonic, and the rest heavyweights like dk to pound him. you can charge a super punch waiting for him but it also has to be an agile character to dodge moves that normal 'dodging' cant dodge

be kirby because he is fast and can hit pretty fast too

Pokemon trainer. Abuse the fuck out of rocksmash with charizard. It's the most damaging move to a boss.
