I dont know about you guys but i think Armmor games should start a new point system and by this i mean..............

1. points are added for finishing a game not commenting on it

2. award passwards are given out at the end of a game so you can get rewards etc.

fell free to add any other suggestions and add this * if you agrree with me

This 'reward' system was before suggest so people could get points like at Kongregate, a bit at least. I disagree with the first point, first because it would disencorage people to comment more (although it would lower the spam a bit) and latter because it would obligate me to play the entire game, something I am not allways up to.

it has been tried but it will never work but i think it is a good idea but not rewards and passwords make it simpler

I agree. I think armor games should give more points for actually playing their games than just writing a simple comment such as "good" or "cool"

There also will be the problem of people spamming the passwords at places or other sites. Then you still got the fact that it will mean some more work. The current point system is quite good, but the problem is the enormous spam. A fix for this would be forcing people to atleast use 5 or 10 words.

So many different point system ideas have thrown around, and they all seem to be the same in ways.

A lot of suggestions for points coincide with Kongregate or the such. We try to make ourselves unique, so that people have a good reason to check us out. Not that our totally fly games and community aren't reason enough. ^_^

Also, things are always changing here. It's a living entity in a sense.

Besides.....points are not as important as people enjoying themselves is. As long as you have fun, anything else should be secondary.

I don't know. But I do agree with this statement:

I play Kongregate. I like it. I also like Armorgames too. Therefore I see an idea that is almost exactly like the badges from Kongregate. That's copying, and although it would be cool, it would be a point that many people would argue about. Some people will join Armorgames for that reason. Others will leave because they think that Armorgames is a copycat.

That's mainly the problem with rewards connected to passwords: The always leak out. Be it on the website or on the internet in general.

As I see no one has come to agree with you. Thus I think that this is an idea that most people are against. Sorry, usually majority rules.

This has been suggested so many times I think that it is a very bad idea. I think that it is a bad idea because not all games are easily beaten so I think this is a bad idea and it won't work at all.
