not a bad idea but maybe for the users it could me like what they pick like i can pick linkin park in the end and it will play it for me.

I don't think i have ever seen this on a game site.

I don't know though, peoples music taste ranges so much it would only suit some people, and the rest would just be annoyed.

I always thought it would be cool to have an Armor Games theme song, lol. I don't know if it would be a good idea to play a song on the front page though, I think music on sites can get pretty obnoxious.

It could be a bit annoying (and it may affect the all impotant speed of the sight). If it did go ahead it wouldn't be linken park though right or some faceless Muzak. It would surely have to be something fitting for the sight. Greensleeves or something a bit medieval.

You know,people usually already listen to music when they come to AG.I for one always have my Ares open and am already listening to music so the though of the site's music getting over mine would drive me mad.
It's a good project but remember:a looping music,however long it may be will just annoy as time goes by.
Music is important though,keep listening.

Disagreed, music on the homepage would just get on top of my own. Listen to what you want when you want, without the site's music pestering you.

Light travels faster than sound.

This means that by the time the music starts, the user has already clicked a game or another link. Anyway, this would really lagg up for people with dial-up.

Music on the page is a no-no.

a) People are often listening to their own music
b) Tastes differ
c) Mind the bandwidth and loading speed. More items on the page to load -> more server load -> slower page opening for everyone

An AG theme song would be good maybe for the opening of flash games where it tells that it is sponsored by AG,but not on the Home page.Dewmocracy had a song on the home page and it was annoying as heck since I was already listening to music,and the song was annoying on its own,and this kind of is an example from my stand point on how music on the home page probably won't work out.Still a theme song on its own is another topic that could be discussed.
