Well its night time where I live and I'd like to hear some scary stories.
I have a few from the old forum I used to lurk.
Tap tap tap...
There was a couple, the boy named Nick, the girl named Jane. Nick was driving Jane back to her house (in the farm) at night from the city and decided to take a short cut through the woods. Nick turned the radio on and a radio station said that a man just broke out of prison and to proceed with caution. Jane said that she'll just wait until morning to go back home, but Nick insisted that she go back home that night. They drove and they ran outta gas in the forest, it was dark, raining, and the trees looked eerie. Nick moved the car next to a tree and said "I saw a gas station somewhere back there, I'll go get some help." Jane told him to be careful and that she loved him. He said he loved her too and he left. Jane, alone in the car, was very scared. She locked the door, went in the back seat and covered herself with her jacket and a blanket they left in the back. She fell asleep. The next time she awoke Nick still wasn't here and there was a scraping sound on the roof of the car. She tried to go back to sleep, but the rain and the scraping noise was too much. She soon fell asleep. When she awoke it was morning and there were police around the car. A police man, his face sad, told Jane that her parents called to look for her and they found their car. She asked if they say Nick and they said, "No, sorry." As she was getting out of the car the policeman told her, "Whatever you do, no matter what, don't look back." She got out the car. As she went into the policeman's car she looked back, tempted by curiosity. She screamed a bloodcurdling scream. Nick was hung over the car on tree that loomed over.
he's shoes made the scraping noises on the car roof. Pretty scary story! imagine the noise the whole night... Actually both should go to the station together! And to make the story scarier ( albeit more unbelievable) there could be just one policeman and he was the guy who escaped from prison...
Ok heres one but it may not be that scary, and its a few incidents that happened to be over some time. You need contextual knowledge for this one. I'll post some.
The Japanese occupation of Singapore ( 1942-1945) was bloody, people tortured( electrocution, pencils in ears, beating with bamboo rods), tens of thousands killed( Sook Ching), women abused. During the invasion, many of the British Empire's troops and Japanese troops were killed. The surrender was signed in a Ford Motor factory.
Years later, as a man and his dog passed by the old abandoned factory at night, during a jog, the man was listening to loud rock music from his ipod. As he ran past the factory, the music changed to that of a Japanese News radio abruptly, The newscaster spoke about WWII and Japanese victories, the quality was bad. As the guy, now frightened ran off, the music changed back after passing the factories boundaries. He went back a few steps, and the music changed yet again to the Japanese news. His dog was also howling by now.( Dogs are rumored to be able to see ghost). The guy threws the ipod off and ran for it.
Another story. The Malay Regiment fought in the Battle, wiped out to the last six men. They retreated, but encountered a burning dam, several metres across. Four cleared it, two died in the flames. Their commander was captured by the japanese, strung up on a tree and bayoneted. Years later( again), several people were at the ex-battleground, now park. They were having a party at night. As one of the girls walked past a tree in the dark, she felt something drop down and drape over her shoulders. it felt strangely like human hair. She fled, screaming like a madwoemn. The other party goers also thought they heard diso music in the distant, but others claim it was cannon fire from days long gone. It continued the whole night, ceasing only when they left in a hurry at dawn. it was rumored they had disturbed the soldeirs' resting place.
Apart from that, the old YMCA building which was the Japaneses' torture center is thought to be haunted. Screams still can be heard......
In Bedok( a residential area in Singapore) the Japanese used to bury the bodies of innocents that they killed, in mass graves. In a flat that was built recently, someone reputedly saw the a ghost of a Japanese soldier killed in the war, still holding his sword. He's lower body was gone......
Once opon a time there was a scary looking boy, and he killed everyone in sight. He will kill you when he sees you. Tomorrow at 12:00 pm, he will come to you and kill you. =)
Erm Ernie the dead guy was over the car the whole time. The wind and rain made his body swing over the car, his shoes erm... scrapped the roof causing those scratchy scary noises. It's not an error.
