That is what I don't understand about lent. I was under the impression that it was something to do with Jesus not eating anything when he was in the desert.

Yeah, every time I come back to this thread I keep thinking somebody wants like the byproduct of a week at the drycleaner's or something...

There is a girl at my school who is actually giving up FOOD for a week. I know it isn't the full lengh of lent but is she does I will be impressed.

I am giving up pancakes for lent. I am still copletely stuffed from tuesday.
