Ooo just found another word I like. Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis: an obscure term ostensibly referring to a lung disease caused by silica dust, sometimes cited as one of the longest words in the English language.
Most of my definitions come from dictionary.com, other than the phobias I stated earlier which were from previous knowledge somewhere else.
I also quite like dysdiadokokinesia is the inability to perform rapid, alternating movements.
An example of this word is from the amareur transplants son "Dorsal Horn concerto":
You must say things like dysdiadakokinesia; You can't say things like the patient's unable to clap their hands quickly together while turning one over and over and over and over and over and over.
Well the only reason I put it is because it's said to be one of the longest words in the English language like it said in the definition. The definition of the word itself is kind of morbid, so you don't have to read it.
"Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit" or "The city of angels, the great city, the eternal jewel city, the impregnable city of God Indra, the grand capital of the world endowed with nine precious gems, the happy city, abounding in an enormous Royal Palace that resembles the heavenly abode where reigns the reincarnated god, a city given by Indra and built by Vishnukam" is the capital city of Thailand. And you thought Bangkok.
Nah I was just kidding pixie. Doesn't really matter. Let's see. Time to think of a favorite word that's not really long. Hmm...I'd have to say mnemonic because it has a silent m. If anyone needs a definition, here it is: assisting or intended to assist the memory.
