GOd created the earth

This is a questionable statement to begin with

then like a couple thousand years later he destroyed the world with a flood

And the proof for this is where?

Chinese history is only so long since Teh fall of babylon which divided the world into different areas. It also takes awhile to become a organized country again.

GOd created the earth then like a couple thousand years later he destroyed the world with a flood and 40 days and 40 nights it rained and then It took awhile to evaporate so the world was tramsformed and everything was aged older from the water. That's why it seems older.

Ok I'll rephrase is their a scientific reason why things sgould age faster underwater because the above quote explained nothig.

He does have a point. After all, if you stay in water for too long the tips of your fingers get wrinkles....

But seriously:

If this flood was so vast that it covered the entire surface of the eart as you say, but then was able to evaporate, then why haven't our comparatively small oceans and seas evaporated yet?

Hmg.... I think the universe is older than that.
But ofcourse I have no proof so I'll find something else to poke.

so its not because the water leaves your skin through pores due to the less concentrated nature of pure water?

man this turns my world around...

If someone wants to deny the huge amount of evidence that the Earth is more than a few thousand years old, then just let them. Anyone who believes something like that isn't going to be easy to persuade.

DDX- I love it, great theory on how the dinosaurs were taken out.

How old the Earth is? isn't it somewhere around 6 billion years old or is it more like 4? Can't recall what scientists say these days.

Of course if you go with the religious view, what? 6,000 years old or something like that?

I'll respect other people's views as long as they don't try to force it on me, but I have to go with the 4-6 billion years for a guess.
