It has come to my attention that lately, The Tavern has been filled with ridiculous topics that trolls everybody. I mean honestly, who wants to talk to a topic called "If I were a cow" or "UBER OWNAGE".
Please stop creating random topics. Just because this is for general discussion, it doesn't mean everybody in that forum wants to read topics about cows and ownage. Try to keep the discussion interesting and spamless. Creating topics to troll people obviously isn't the right thing to do either.
Well Mattherwest to tell you the truth.This isn't just a recent occurrence.The tavern has been having pointless topics since as far as I can remember.In fact that is the reason why the forum games section exists,si because people were making tons of pointless forum games in the tavern here.I am not so sure how much making a thread about it will help,but I admire your effort.
Well you won't know if it is or isnt actually spam unless you were the thread owner, I mean some people might find Uber Ownage or If I were a cow funny and interesting ( personally I do, it cracks me up). Also, the tavern is here for all the silly, innocent comments that people make. That's why the Tavern's description is there.

Yes but you see, most of the people who create these topics are only doing it for Armor Points. They have no intention of providing interest to other users.
Like who? (proof helps a lot when the moderators swing by that they will have enough proof to tell the admins or make a forum that says do not make random forums.
3/4 of these I reported to a moderator and they were all locked. Take a look at them and you'll see why.
Oh and I know the Tavern is for random topics but I should've written that better... I meant things like: A day in the life of a Toaster and stuff like that which is totally random.
Actually this thread is kinda... how should I put it? spammy too, see theres a section on rules for spamming, put the comment there. And a day in the life of a toaster is not spam! It's something interesting! I've written essays on life of a coin, life of a shoe but not of a toaster! And jaza himself said it's not spam.
Nicho I don't see why you're taking it up for jaza as he Definitly has been spamming around. At first his posts were okay but after 1 hour he became spammy and look how much useless posts he and merciless mercenary made? If you guys are saying that the Tavern is for useless posts then suggest to remove post count in the tavern. I persoanlyl will not do this because I disagree on this point as you can have (and I yesterday had) a nice discussion about things. The spam jsut neds to be removed and if people jsut make a thread and say I'm sorry for the spam, i annouce I won't do it again, it's kinda useless, you shouldn't start those things in the first place. Secondly, Don't double post, thirdly put more information in your posts, 4th, don't make a new thread, post waht you want to say in the same topic if you spammed that topic, don't make a new thread for a simple sorry.
Ok actually all of us have been spamming! All of us posted on his thread, be it on the topics or teaching jaza not to spam. Even you healmeal! And you it might be spam to you, might be a question/topic of genuine interest to him. Maybe he should reduce his posts but he should still posts. Well this is my own opinion I don't want hatemail/ to be banned/ insults in my profile. Well the jaza saga continues...
